Before Kenny Chesney...

...there was Chesney Hawkes.

I totally forgot about this British pop star. His dad was in the Tremoloes. Recently he's collaborated with Curt Smith from Tears for Fears and Adam Schlesinger. What a voice on this guy!

"The One And Only"
His original hit from the 90s written by Nik Kershaw

"Seven Of Sundays"
Written by Chesney Hawkes... perfomed by Curt Smith

"Stay Away Baby Jane"
Collaboration with Adam Schlesinger... Poor quality, great song

I’ve had a good share of the spotlight. I don’t feel I need too much of it right now. I want to write country music, because I grew up in Tennessee, and soul music. ~ Justin Timberlake
