Bad Movie Titles
Here's a list of some truly bad movie titles. Warning... The article wrapped around the titles is snarky enough to make an Entertainment Weekly writer weep.

Meet The New Michael Bluth
Jason Bateman has gone from being cast as a sidekick in goofy Vince Vaughan/Ben Stiller comedies to some weighty dramatic roles. I think I'm gonna like seeing this side of him.
Will Gob (who stole the show in Blades of Fury) and Buster (played a great supporting role in Stranger than Fiction) follow suit?

Make 'Em Jump Through Hoops
According to Wikipedia,
The soundtrack [to The Princess Bride] was originally released by Warner Bros. Records in 1987. It was written and recorded by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, the only person Rob Reiner felt could create a soundtrack to capture the film's quirky yet romantic nature. Reiner was an admirer of Knopfler's work but did not know him before working on the film – he sent the script to him hoping he would agree to score the movie. Knopfler agreed on one condition: that somewhere in the film Rob Reiner include the USS Coral Sea baseball cap he wore as Marty DiBergi in This is Spinal Tap. Reiner was unable to produce the original cap, but did include a similar cap in the grandson's room. Later Knopfler said he was joking.

Go See It
Ratatouille is the best movie I've seen in a long time. The characters are great, the animation is beautiful, the writing is golden. Go see it, bring all your friends.
Steve Jobs released the iPhone and Ratatouille at the same time. That's amazing.

That Thing You (Re)Do!
Tom Hanks re-released That Thing You Do! as a Director's Cut with 30 minutes of additional footage.
The main menu of the DVD is a turntable set to 45rpm. There's a little knob on the bottom right on which you can select 33rpm (which makes the menu song & video go slower or 78rpm (faster).

Moulin Rouge! as Religious Allegory
I loved Moulin Rouge because of the music and the cinematography. I had no idea how deep the symbolism runs in this Spectacular Spectacular film.

This is going to be good
I figured Ratatouille would be a good movie. The director, Brad Bird, came up through The Simpsons and was responsible for The Iron Giant and The Incredibles. Now I know it will be amazing. The link is to the Chinese trailer, the US version isn't half as cool.
