Maybe I'll Ditch Cable

Veoh.com has all my favorite shows. It'd be REALLY cool if it got some BBC shows too... One thing at a time.

There's No Question, Joe

I grew up in DFW. Although I'm currently a transplanted Texan, I have always been a Cowboys fan.

Having said that...

I just thought up a SuperBowl drinking game... During the broadcast, every time Troy Aikman says to Joe Buck:

"There's no question..."
"Well, Joe, there's no question..."
"That's right Joe, there's no question..."

...or any variation thereof, everybody drinks.

I'm a loyal Troy fan but my boy needs to learn some new professional broadcasting phrases.

If The WGA Blocks The Grammys...

The hosts and each presenter should sing a little song.

Update: There won't be any picket line. The Union granted the Grammys a waiver.

Touch The Brazilians

The band who performs that ubiquitous iPod Touch jingle is from Sao Paulo.

Internet TV has arrived and it's good

Joost went public today. Watch streaming TV on your computer for free from the creators of Skype.

I was expecting it to be lame, but it's actually pretty great. The interface is really slick and there seems to be quite a bit of content.

An email address is required, but you are given the chance to opt out of the mailing list after your email is verified.

I Despise Reality TV

Unless it's a show which combines American Idol & The Apprentice.

Fred Goss=Genius

He's a genius talking about the broken process of pitching TV pilots.

Check out this interview... then watch Carpooling (right after Caveman on ABC).

The Mole

If you have Tivo and Fox Reality Channel, record The Mole marathon starting Sunday @ 8am cst. MENSA calls it the smartest show on television. It contains the best elements of Lost and the Amazing Race. Great production values. Smart contestants. Beautiful locations. Clever challenges.

If you don't have tivo or Fox Reality, Netflix it.

The More I Watch Friends...

...the more I love Studio 60.

Matthew Perry was born to play Matt Albie on Studio 60. It is such a shame that we only got 22 episodes of that genius work. I see Friends as Matthew's spring training to get him ready for S60.

BTW: Studio 60 is coming to DVD in October!

Yay Scurrilous Online Television!

Miss an episode? They probably did too. If they do have it it's got huge Chinese subtitles & it's extra grainy.

Lost secret

So, there was a brief moment that "Jacob" was visible last week. Here's the picture. Spooky...

Lost: The End Is In Sight!

ABC plans to get Lost 48 more times between now and 2011. Here's hoping for an un-Alias-like decline.

More Office!

Two pieces of news:
  • The Office may become an hourlong show next year
  • Two endings are being shot this year due to Rashida Jones being in a pilot for next fall.

Is this the best... thing... ever?

BEEF STEW

Actually it's the Ziova Clearstream CS505 High Def network media player thing. One box to rule them all. What's it do you ask? It plays everything.

But it doesn't just play everything, it plays everything on your wireless network. or external drive. or flash drive. or DVD-R.

Then it upscales it for your new HDTV, making everything look Not-Crappy (TM).

Pre order for $299 (That link was hard to find. I had to pull out the old Google-fu)

Lost Connections

This interactive guide to the interpersonal dynamics of Lost is rad.

Spoiler alert.

Yes, that is a Big Tuna

Harold Ramis returns to The Office tonight. Great hilarity ensues.

You Gotta See This!

The sheer creativity of this commercial blows my little mind.

I still have no idea what they're selling.

30 Rock with Gob

Will Arnett will guest star in Thursday's episode of 30 Rock. Internet buzz indicates that 30 Rock was picked up for another season today.
